About

I am a potter working from a small studio at the home I share with my family in Wiltshire.

I work predominantly with stoneware clay, making hand-thrown pieces on the wheel.

Having a solid basis in traditional craft and technique, I make simple, useful vessels, with an almost playful design element. My current work is largely influenced by my background in printmaking, using coloured slips and paper cut-outs as stencils and inlay techniques, I build up patterns and images, layering to create a spontaneous design.

My work is concerned with nature and the ancient landscapes that surround where I live.
